Turner Classic Movies is the film channel of Turner Broadcasting. As the name implies, it is devoted to classic films, presenting them in the original format, without commercial interruptions. The film library is enormous, and the evening presenter, Robert Osborne, is a true historian of cinema. This is a high-class channel, and very well regarded. It attracts a different audience than most other cable television channels, so the presentation of the Karl May films will enter new territory.

PS ... der erste Film am 14ten am Abend ist 'The Last Hunt' ... mit Bison jagd (auch mit Stewart Granger). Die Filmausschnitte in dem Film wurden dann spaeter auch fuer die 'Winnetou' Filme gebraucht.

Die werde ich mir mal aufnehmen. TCM zeigt normalerweise alle Filme im original Bildformat. "Rampage at Apache Wells" lief vor einigen Monaten mal auf dem Encore Western Channel aber die Bildqualitaet war unter aller Wuerde und ausserdem Pan&Scan.
